As 30 June looms ahead, and with Egyptians in overdrive to rally support for their respective causes, a number of questions beg unambiguous, definitive answers. Why, in specific is the rebellion?
I saw the reactions of some angry Coptic youth after the Church had expressed her high estimate for the the military institution. This happened after the announcement of Defense Minister in which he promised to support the will of the people and refuse insulating the army.
The fact that June has always brought the shame of the Egyptian setback in 1967 is about to change. This month is going to bring pride of victory after we get rid of the Muslim Brotherhood's occupation. The Egyptians are going to correct the path, restore the revolution and make its slogans come true including freedom and social justice
Egypt has never experienced a civil war; however, this was changed when the Arab occupation arrived. They brought division, shabbiness and corruption. Moreover, they were used to attack and kill each other, even for nothing.
Being in power, the Muslim Brotherhood sent a clear message to the fanatics and the Islamists that they are welcome to do whatever they want in Egypt, even using slightly different techniques. They knew that it’s time to share the spoils as well as power.
Resuming my count down to 30th.of June is broken as M. Okasha of TV channel Fara3een decided to push forward the star point of this STAND UP to 21st.June and here I wish to say this was best decision he cut down Muslim Brotherhood preparations and introduced unlimited havoc!
What we have seen last Friday from the Muslim Brotherhood and their demonstration in Nasr city led us to an important discovery. We now see that Saudi Arabia played an important role in changing the nature of the Egyptian Society.
In one case, an Egyptian Christian man stabs his wife after she converts to Islam with the support of hard-line Islamists. Then after surrendering to police, he dies in mysterious circumstances, falling from a court building window.
The case of Coptic Christian teacher Demiana Obeid Abdel Nour is a sample of what the Copts face in Egypt. It's repeated charges against peaceful people who're mostly proven innocent at the end. Demiana was accused and convicted however there was no proof that she has already done something wrong.
However many people think that June 30 will bring the end of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, I don't think so. I believe it may only be the beginning.
Resuming my last week post I would say one week down two more left, however having nothing more to say in this subject more then what I already said I wish to point out the strong message sent out upon the lousy Muslim Brotherhood attack on the people who stood up for the Culture of Egypt being assassinated by the new Culture minister new MB Culture minister who see the Ballet Dancing inappropriate and must be banned! -an everlasting classic dance we all grow up admiring the classics of this dances on the Royal Opera and our Opera best shows- a minister of Culture all his cultural wealth is 2 books and an article! This minister dared to sit of the chair Taha Husein, El Akad, Yousef El Sibaee, Abaza and many more writing giants occupied!
Being one of the Egyptians that likes to take the Metro most days, I find that every day the people in the Metro talk about nothing except Morsi and if he should step down or not. Most people are very angry with Morsi, and they mention why. Some of them say that the electricity cuts every day; others say that the water cuts every day too.
We’ve heard many calls to unify the Copts abroad in order to serve their Coptic cause. However the Egyptians were not big fans of immigrating, many Copts have decided to change this in the twentieth century that about 2 million Coptic Christians have already immigrated out of Egypt and others are still waiting. The new phenomenon came with the increasing suffering of the Copts, especially after the revolution in 1952. This revolution tried to change the Egyptian identity by imposing more Arabic and Islamic aspects, in addition to many terroristic attacks that targeted the Copts leading them to be marginalized in all walks of life.
The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt are selling the idea that to overthrow them means to defeat Islam and put an end to its revival project in Egypt. This is known to be their last weapon, which has been useful for long time and enabled them to deceive many naive Egyptian people.
However the Copts are not pets to give them the governor’s leftovers, President Mohammed Morsy has decided finally to give them a permission to build a church 17 years after they first applied for it. This shows the difficulty of getting a license to build a church, and the persecution of the Copts by both the former and the current regime.
Case of Demiana Abdul Nour had nothing to do with freedom of speech. She was a victim of misfortune and conflicts between the principal and young Islamic teachers supported by the Islamic parties that trade on religion and wronged a naïve girl in order to achieve their political interests.
Yes, it is the count down in weeks to a very important date or appointment in Egypt or for Egyptians or call it whatever you want the appointment is 30th. Of June or on the 1st anniversary of Morsy or Dr. Morsy or whoever he is who sat on the ruling sit of Egypt that like most Egyptians I reject as president I never voted for him neither acknowledge the fake results of voting!
Recently, President Morsi has announced that he approves the first church in his era for the Copts. But we should be careful here; this church is not from Morsi but for him. You might ask what does it mean for him? It means that Morsi wanted to tell the Copts, at this time especially, that he is tolerant although he doesn’t mean the Copts surely, but he means the international community. Coincidently he is traveling to London soon.
Any administration always needs to continuous update and development, or else it would become decayed. Church’s administration is not an exception and it needs management just like other business and organizational activities. That’s why Jesus Christ arranged the work of this foundation to be done and supervised by certain people who are called the clergy.
As a Muslim man, many fanatics usually ask me: How come you claim that the Bible is not distorted? They also accuse me of contradicting Islam after I had published my book “In the Quran and Sunnah .. Gospel is not distorted”. However, as a journalist, I only seek the truth even if they don't like it.
