"Despite the government's failure and the general deterioration Egypt is suffering, Ganzouri's cabinet is insisting to remain in power, SCAF (the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces) is insisting to keep the Ganzouri's cabinet despite the refusal of parliament and its different committees of the last government statement," Badie said in his short statement
The Muslim Brotherhood and its political arm, the Freedom and Justice Party, have been demanding of SCAF that it form a new government based on the new majority in parliament. Badie claimed in his statement that the parliamentary majority would form a government representative of all political powers in Egypt.
