Coptic Orthodox Church announced in a statement that the celebration of Christmas will be held on time.
Statement added that the Coptic martyrs of St. Peter church joined other martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The basic rituals of the church will be held, but the formal ceremonial appearances will be abandoned this year.
