In the midst of many disputes in Egypt, a lot of Egyptians have forgotten about the most intense phase and the most dangerous stage experienced by our country with many conspiracies aiming to divide and destroy the Egyptian state and the Egyptian institutions. Such conspiracies have increased with the increasing sense of patriotism and belonging to Egypt that removed the Muslim Brotherhood from power.

Dr. Tawfik Okasha has chosen the wrong time to break the national unity in Egypt. He decided to join Dr. Abdul Rahim Ali in his incomprehensible campaign against the Coptic Christian businessman Naguib Sawiris. However, Sawiris had donated millions of Egyptian pounds to Okasha and his private television. Moreover, Okasha launched his campaign against all Christians in Egypt ignoring their important role in saving Egypt from many foreign plots during the revolution of June 30.

The Egyptian armed forces surprised the whole world by introducing the marvelous project to dig a new watercourse of the Suez Canal. The old one was opened in November 16, 1869 in a legendary celebration in the presence of the architect of French colonialism, Ferdinand Delesibs, and Khedive Ismail. In the context of the Zionist huge plan to hit the Arab and Islamic world, led by Egypt, since the disaster of 9/11, the Muslim Brotherhood has carried out the plan aiming to divide Egypt through inciting great strife between Egypt's Copts and Muslims. The plan started by kidnapping, forced displacement and killing of the Copts. Those fanatics have issued fatwas allowing looting and destroying properties of the Copts. Does Pope Tawadros know that martyrdom in Christianity is a Golden Bridge or short cut to eternal life? Recently, 7 Coptic Christians have been killed execution style by Ansar al- Sharia group in Libya. Thus, they have indeed won crowns of martyrdom and got higher rank in heaven than the saints and all members of the Holy Synod.

Among waves of conflicts and disputes, the Holy Synod, headed by H.H. Pope Tawadros II, has issued the new Pope election regulation. Then, it was sent to the Presidency for approval. Some people may ask: Why did the Holy Synod have such conflict and disputes among the bishops? Simply because some of them prefer the old regulation with slight changes in terms of expanding the voters list.
