Egypt TV on Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) Launched

A satellite television network titled 'Greetings to You Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)' was launched in Egypt with the purpose of explaining the lifestyle of the prophet of Islam.

Nasser bin Mosaffar al-Zahrani, an official of the television network, said that the programs of this television are based on the Holy Qur'an and traditions of the prophet of Islam. They are also based on the global humanitarian spirit.

"Programs are meant to explain the ethics of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)," al-Zahrani added, noting that "we witness brutal insults to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), and we can confront such insults by taking appropriate measures."

His remarks referred to the recent insults to the prophet of Islam in a US-made movie and a French Magazine.

Outrage is growing across the Muslim world over the five-million-US dollar movie that has been financed by more than 100 Jews and produced by an American-Zionist man in the United States.

The "Innocence of Muslims" film was being promoted by a Florida pastor, Terry Jones, known for previous Qura’n-burning stunts that angered Muslims in various countries.
