In the last days of Dr. Hussein Kamel Bahaa El-Din, former Minister of Education, he decided that each school should write this slogan on its doors: "my school is nice, clean, sophisticated and productive" Thus, each school principle invented many slogans to describe his pretty school. It doesn't matter if the school is a mess and never teaches the students.

As Promised last week this is my 1st Reading History series article that I might interrupt from time to time when urgent or unexpected events occurs that needs my attention or comments, however, I’ll try as much as possible to explain -from my point of view- errors and mistakes of the past and the terrific results that might be affecting us today and to explain this let me take a simple example terrorism in Egypt.

The latest decision from the Government, raising the gas prices, is a very sensitive decision, especially for the poor classes in the Egyptian community which are the majority. But at the same time we can not deny that a lot of rich people were using gas paying very low prices and were benefitting from the subsidiary system more than poor.

Kidnapping of Copts at Nag Hamadi is a phenomena that has recently increased so much. This week, five unmasked armed men have kidnapped Malak Zaghloul, Coptic young man, from his shop in front of his customers as the police have just disappeared leaving those criminals to do whatever they like.

An American court has sentenced a man to 24 months in prison for intentionally killing a dog. It was such a shocking news for me as no body would accept killing an innocent animal, but after thinking for a while, I found out that in my country, Egypt, many human beings are killed without punishment for the killers.

His eminence king Abdallah, king of Saudi Arabia, has visited Egypt in a visit that doesn't have much to do with political protocols, but has a lot to do with brotherly love between two sister countries. He came as an ambassador for the good and love bringing all the support for Egypt and its people. The two leaders of Egypt and Saudi Arabia agreed to establish a political and military alliance among Egypt and the Gulf countries, except Qatar. They also agreed to hold an international press conference to declare this alliance and the Saudi's great support for Egypt.

Rebel movement was born because of the great oppression of the Muslim Brotherhood. Thus, Egyptian men and women decided to refuse such oppression and called to unite the people once again after the Muslim Brotherhood has been working on dividing them. Such unity was able to destroy the monster of the terrorist group that was trying to seize all over Egypt using the division of the people.

Let me first wish Egyptians, Egypt, and all Egypt’s friends and enemies a very happy Ramadan –Ramadan Moubarak- May God Keep blessing you all. I watched yesterday the documentary film “Copts’ Island” in fact I miss a lot documentaries movies on Egyptian TV, ALL Egyptian channels broadcast drama, news, talk shows but no documentaries. My last ever memories go back to 60’s when Abd-El-Fatah Gohar (R.I.P) used to teach us the underwater secrets of the seas and oceans in his weekly program The World Of Seas or “Alam El Behar” in Arabic; other documentaries in this era included PhD. Mostapha Mahmoud (R.I.P) “El Elm wal Iman” or Science and Faith and I do not recall the presenter of “Hadth fi Mithl Haza Alyoum” or Happened in a Similar day, and “Alam el Hayaouan” or the Animal’s World!

Our women had performed great role during the revolution of January 25 and the revolution of June 30. Thus, some sadists have decided to humiliate our great women and sexually harass them in the streets. The Copts have accepted burning their churches and looting their properties for the sake of their country. Therefore, some grudgers decided to oppress and humiliate the Copts, especially those who supported Hamdeen Sabahi in the presidential elections. Those grudgers forgot that president Abudl Fahtah al-Sisi has himself thanked Sabahi for being a good rival in the presidential elections. They also try to connect some Coptic unions, namely Maspero Youth Union, to the terrorists.

I do not deny that America is a superpower, but this doesn’t give its foreign minister the right to be rude when talking about Egypt and its stability and respect for democracy. Furthermore, it doesn’t give him the right to talk on behalf of our president and ask for a break for the newly elect president. It doesn’t give him reason to talk about our judicial system and its provisions. Being a super power does give America the right to demand the release of journalists of Al-Jazirah news network whom were condemned by Egyptian court. Would you welcome our talk about the importance of releasing sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman. Mubark did well when he ignored the American demands to release Aiman Nour.

However many statues of great Egyptian men like Talaat Harb, Mostafa Kamel, Mohamed Farid, Ibrahim Basha, Omar Makram, and even foreign people like Simon Bolivar can be found in Egyptian squares, very few statues of women can be found in Egypt. There is also many statues of Taha Hussein, and Yusuf Idris, Abas Mahmoud Akkad, and other statues that can be found everywhere in Egypt for their commemoration and honor.

Coptic Christian discourse has always been based on reconciliation between God and men, and among people. This is how Christianity has been spreading peace all over the world and this is the way Christians accept diversity and plurality. This way Christians were able to turn values of love, compassion, tolerance and forgiveness to daily practices.

Upon elections few weeks back as I noticed a general dismay within Egyptian youth having determined that elections was the final pre-plotted step of the so called Coup-D’états; refusing to admit that over 40 million Egyptians had revolted on 30/6/2013 and confirmed their desires time after time that they wanted back the stolen presidency sit to give it to whoever they trusted.

It is very well known that the Copts have spread themselves out over the years. Many have immigrated to Canada, US, Australia, Europe etc… The Coptic people have attempted at creating a better life for themselves in the midst of an unfair living situation. Some intentionally moved away despite not knowing any other language than Arabic so that they could build a better life for their children.

The Egyptian judiciary and the terrorist group of Daash have something in common, as both of them are terrorizing the Copts. It's known that the judiciary is penetrated since Mubarak's regime. It was even more penetrated under Morsy's regime. In spite of the wide participation of the Copts in the revolution of June 30, they still suffer under the auspices of the state. The newly elected President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who’s currently building the new Egypt, has to clean it of supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood inside the police and judiciary. Those supporters are being the hidden hand to punish opposes of the terrorist group, especially the Copts.

Harassment is a terrible crime that became more of a disease in Egypt that should be faced by the community in many ways including education and law. We have to cure such illness by changing educational curriculum to fight such ill concepts about women to educate the people that women are in fact our mothers, sisters and daughters that we should protect instead of tease or harass.

In the Egyptian old movies, we used to see a man sitting on an expensive couch eating fruits and smoking hashish and hookah. Meanwhile, he must be watching a pretty blonde white woman dancing before he decided to enjoy nice sex with her. It was normal to cut the seen after the first kiss leaving the viewers to use their imagination and continue the scene.

With all due respect, I found it impossible to communicate with any bishop of the 120 members of the Holy Synod. Long ago early 70’s someone I know used to work for a medical entity, and suddenly there was the boom his sells commissions sky hi he got not just one but two wealthy superrich customers who decided to construct not 1 or 2 hospitals but many! Hospital equipment compared to private clinics equipment is just like someone building a castle on the sands of the desert facing Khufu great pyramid! It was really the greatest ever times of this guy, cause like things started suddenly ended brutally, and these 2 wealthy customers who were building not just 1 or two hospitals but many of them were none other Iraq and Iran! 70’s where still peaceful, but plans were going on building hospitals meant they expect lot of sick people, or INJURED but why?
